Financial Controller

Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance functions of our Hong Kong and PRC offices.
Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures.
Prepare monthly financial and management reports, analysis, cash flow forecast as required.
Oversee and manage the daily financial operations, taxation issues, cost control, budgeting and forecasting for our offices
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to meet internal and external requirements, analyze and interpret operating results and provide value added operational input to management.
To advise and support senior management on strategic planning as well as to oversee and manage day-to-day operations.
Perform group consolidation, cost analysis, forecasting and budgeting .
Responsible for overall financial management activities include but not limit to: monitor corporate revenue, cash flow planning, forecasting and budgeting, cost accounting, audit, cost control, inventory control, asset management, etc…
Manage the local tax filing and VAT reporting on a timely basis.
Deal with and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary and local government authorities for the local offices.
Design and manage the implementation of working systems on ERP trading systems through to final accounts.
Other ad hoc duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant
Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines.
Professionally Qualified Accountant (member of HKICPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent etc).
Possess a PRC Accountant qualification such as CPA and CA is definitely a plus.
A minimum of 8 years solid financial and accounting experience of which over 5 years in management level in a sizable trading/manufacturing organization.
Familiar with PRC laws, PRC accounting and taxation rules and regulations.
Solid experience in set up and development accounting policies, procedures and controls.
Independent, self-motivated and able to handle multi tasks in a timely manner and under pressure
Strong leadership skills with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, can communicate effectively deal with people at multiple levels.
Strategic thinker with strong sense at cost control, and definitely has to be a proactive self starter, energetic, dynamic and passion for success.
Experience in Logistics and Logistic management would be advantageous.
Highly proficient in PC and MS applications (e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and have experience designing and implementing systems and procedures on ERP trading systems.
Fluency in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin, Stationed in Tsim Sha Tsui - Hong Kong
