Network Engineer for Technology for Infrastructure Services in Hong Kong We have urgent requirement for Network Engineers in Hong Kong Job Summary: Role: Network Engineer for Technology Infrastructure Services in Hong Kong - 92628 Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months (renewable) Location: Hong Kong One of our clients is looking for a Network Engineer, who is/are able to fulfill the following requirements: Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing operational maintenance and support of the global voice and data infrastructure of the organization acting as the 2nd level support. • Perform daily operations and maintenance on large scale regional data and voice network (Routers, Switches, VPNs, Wireless Access points, WAN/MAN, IPTel, Dealing phone system) • Maintain and support firewall infrastructure and external connectivity with external parties • Manage external vendors to provide data, firewall and voice services across Asia • Capacity planning, risk management, problem management • Maintain operation support documentation Including but not limited to: • providing first-class support and administration of the voice and data platforms • creating/administering/ troubleshooting CISCO Voice-over-IP and Access issues • fine-tuning and optimising poorly performing components and related infrastructure • implementation of IOS upgrades to standard code • Identifying and driving resolution of systemic network infrastructure problems. • 24x7 support and maintenance of LAN/WAN components within the global organisation namely Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls, Routers, Switches, IP phones, Avaya IPTEL/TDM phones • At least five years hands-on experience on the following technologies: Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls,CCM, Ironport proxies, Riverbed, wireless LAN, VPN • At least 5 years experience in network support, in multiple routing-protocol-environment, including BGP, OSPF, RIP and static routing, multicast • Cisco Certified (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE,CCVP) • university degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent • Voice related knowledge: VoIP, IP trunk/IP telephony, PABX, dealer voice, voice mail, voice Recording will be a bonus - Your relevant experience - Current/expected salary - Availability information - A latest MS-WORD Resume We regret that only short-listed applicants will be contacted.
