Unix Developer with Financial Domain experience Technology Skills: Mandatory UNIX/LINUX Shell scripting (ksh, bash, csh) Perl SQL (Sybase or Oracle) Additional Java Programming or background experience a plus Proficient at Excel (formulas, macros, VB scripting a plus) K or Q a plus C++ programming a plus Business Knowledge: Understands Equity Cash Markets Order and execution management flows Working knowledge of FIX protocol Working knowledge of market data Series 7 and 63 license a plus Trading floor experience a plus Soft Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize simultaneous requests and issues Team player Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently with little direction Completes tasks on time and is detail oriented Time period: Initial - 6 months Region: 4 in HKG; Hours of support: HKG 6 AM to 6 PM Weekdays with weekends on an exception basis.
