| Senior Localization Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities: In this customer facing role, responsible for successful completion of localization projects, on-time, on quality, and at cost. Track project progress, provide status report, Own Total Customer Experience for the customer. Establish and develops customer relationship, represent the company in communications with the customer. Handle issues, new requests, understand needs and requirements. Provide solution and financial quote. Lead localization project from beginning to end, including plan resource, manage translation suppliers around the world, providing instructions, timeline management, issue management, Quality Assurance, final delivery, billing, post mortem. Interface with the localization engineering team, other project managers, supplier manager and all other resources contributing to the customer experience. Leverage best practices, tools and technology. Understands industry, tools and technology, and any other topic that can improve customer experience. Self-starter in improving and documenting processes toward operational excellence. Qualifications: Bachelor's (undergraduate) or Master's (graduate) degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Communication. At least 3 years of project management experience. Ability to interact with customers, manage expectations, design solutions within framework of responsibilities. Work in the role of Account or Account Services Manager is a plus. Leadership skills and proactive approach, self-starter. Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision or guidance from others Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills, ability to manage conflict efficiently. Effectively applies project management processes and methodologies, excellent organizational and planning skills. Strong problem resolving skill. Advanced experience in coordinating deliverables, and managing schedules. Excellent English skills (spoken, written). Oversea experience is highly desired. Knowledgeable in and sensitive to multilingual and multicultural issues. Experience in localization industry. Knowledge with XML and content management system. Knowledge in utilizing localization and learning product tools | |
