| Occupational Health Specialist Reporting to the Company Medical Officer, the candidate will work closely with other members of the Occupational Health (OH) team. The key responsibility of the role is to assist in the strategy, development and implementation of corporate occupational health programs focusing on cabin crew absence management, cabin crew work injuries and development of occupational health policies and standards. Other issues include communicable disease incident handling, outport cases, coordination of cabin crew fitness to fly assessments, medical benefit plans, exceptional benefit approvals, cabin crew training issues, in-flight medical support and incidents, complaint management and health promotion. There will be a need to assist the Company Medical Offer to develop and maintain the CMD website and the electronic Company Medical Manual EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION 1. Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years clinical experience preferably in Intensive Care, Coronary Care or Emergency Medicine field (Hong Kong Nursing Board License not required, as this is not a clinical post) 2. Administrative or management experience preferred, especially in Occupational Health 3. Knowledge of healthcare delivery system in Hong Kong a plus 4. Overseas medical training and work experience is a plus 5. Working knowledge and fluency in the use of basic MS applications – Word, Excel and PowerPoint 6. Fluency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills required 7. Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus but not required 8. A self starter with proven ability to solve difficult problems, prioritize work, multi-task and work independently 9. Assertive, self-assured, patient and uses sound judgement 10. A team player with good inter-personal and cross-cultural communication skills | |
