| Asia Sales Manager The Company: Our client is a leading building technologies manufacturing company with a wide range of products applied in residential, commercial and industrial markets. It has been a benchmark for quality in design, engineering and manufacturing. The position: The Asia Sales Manager – Energy Efficiency Solutions position requires vision and development skills to create a new division within the company to promote energy conservation, environmental awareness and alternative energy oriented to fluid and HVAC systems. The region coverage includes: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines. Location: Asia Headquarters in Shanghai, China. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the P&L, sales, marketing, financial, contractual and technical analysis of the business. • Developing tailor-made energy performance solutions with applications in fluid and HVAC systems. • Design and implementation of sales and marketing strategies that significantly reduces customer’s energy and operational costs. • Initiating and leading sales and projects in the South East Asia region, including pricing, cost costing, sales budgeting and customer contract negotiations. • Creating new sales channels and leading potential strategic partnerships to continue growing the business in the region year-on-year. • Dealer channel development and management. • Managing global and local key accounts/projects, through cross functional approach. • Developing and maintaining positive liaisons with governments, industry and external contacts. • Overall South East Asia management. Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Engineering, MBA is an advantage. • Solid technical experience (10+ years) in building automation systems, energy management systems and control systems for industrial and commercial HVAC and water distribution (including design, installation, contracting and service). • Comprehensive knowledge of sales management techniques and bidding processes in Asian countries (focus on SEA). • Extensive network with design institutes and engineering companies across the South East Asian region is an advantage. • Proven track record of developing and managing dealership networks throughout Asia. • General management, strategic leadership, finance, marketing and human resources previous experience. • Effective project management and leadership skills. • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. • Fluency in English is a must. Good command of any other Asian language is plus. • Sales and goal-oriented. Rational, consistent and high levels of integrity. • Engaged, passionate, hands-on and open for a long term commitment • Open to travel frequently, around 80% | |
