LAB MANAGER Requirements • MUST be a Registered Part I or II Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT • Bachelor in Science/ Biomedical / Biotechnology or any other life sciences related degree • At least 3-5 years of hands-on and related experience or industry • Experience in the use of sterile techniques is highly needed • Experience in processing of umbilical cord blood would be an advantage, thought not mandatory • Relevant quality assurance and regulatory compliance experience • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment • Ability to lead and motivate lab staff Responsibilities • Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory • Ensure timely processing and storage of all cord blood units • Identify and recommend process development/ improvements in processing and storage of cord blood units • Responsible for competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols • Ensure adherence to lab and regulatory requirements • Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
