English Financial Editor Job description: Financial Editing The candidate will work from Evalueserve’s delivery center in Shanghai, China (with possible opportunities in our Chile or India office) with a team of professionals that edits investment research reports written by analysts around the globe. The reports, mainly related to equities, are in English and are edited in a real-time environment. Deadlines are strict and meeting them is of paramount importance. Essentials • Must be highly competent in business writing in English (native-speaker level) with an excellent knowledge of grammar, composition and structure • Must possess excellent editing skills in both British and American English and a good eye for detail • Strong knowledge of finance, international business and/or equity markets is highly desired • Must be familiar with a computerized, process-driven work environment • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills Qualification and experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance or English Literature • 3-5 years of full-time relevant work experience (business/editing) Expectations • To provide excellent English language editing skills • To comply with established publishing norms and guidelines • To coordinate with international clients and analysts • To solve problems related to style and content Benefits • Fast career growth in a dynamic and innovative organization • Regionally competitive salary • Highly professional and multicultural work environment • Opportunity to work from delivery centers around the globe • Bonus and other performance-driven payouts The work environment: You will be expected to work in an international environment with peers from Europe, US, Canada, Asia and Latin America, with over 2,500 employees worldwide.
