Apparel Engineer Manager (Salary Range : 40K to 48K per month x 13 + Bonus) Requirements: Bachelors degree in textiles, manufacturing, industrial engineering or related discipline A minimum of 7 years experience in apparel factory engineering or management, including 3 years in a management capacity Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction methods, manufacturing sewing operations, and work measurement techniques Strong working knowledge of materials and functional aspects of garments Excellent communication skills to deal with various level of employees and vendors Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential Responsibilities: Identify and establish standard allowed minute (SAM) values for established product silhouettes Level the minute cost of operations by properly translating effectiveness from a sample environment to a production setting. Establish a manageable and updateable database of SAM values for different garment types and variables Lead process of establishing optimum operational sequences for all apparel products to minimize SAM in construction Work closely with Sourcing and Product Development to evaluate standard minute totals for direct development and suggest changes to maintain best construction practices
